Cacao Butter Block

Cocoa butter is a fat extracted from cocoa beans. The cocoa beans are harvested from a larger ‘cocoa plant’ so that cocoa butter can be obtained. In this process, the beans are stripped, roasted, and pressed to separate the fat, cocoa butter. The remnants of this process are later processed into cocoa powder.

Cocoa butter is a natural edible fat. Almost half of the cocoa beans consist of butter and offer a rich flavor. Cocoa butter is one of the key ingredients in making chocolate. It is soft and has a creamy texture. Therefore, it has a low melting point, around 32 to 35 degrees Celsius. This product is available in a solid block of cocoa butter weighing 25 kg.
